Monitors Guide
HANA nodes status are visible in the system and this monitor will watch for them. Send an alarm when a node is in an error state.
Create a rule in the surveillance table to configure nodes monitoring.
Mandatory: If active, the node specified in the node filter must be registered and with an OK status.
Node: Define a specific node name if you want to customize the monitoring for a given node. You can use * of any regular expression otherwise.

Active | If checked, the rule is enabled and will be processed |
Mandatory | If checked, the specified node will generate an alarm is not in OK status |
Node | The HANA node filter. You can use * to cover all discovered nodes or name a specific node |
Warning severity | Defines the severity to use when a node is in WARNING state |
Error severity | Defines the severity to use when a node is in ERROR state |
Auto clear | If set, the alarm generated when the service goes down will be cleared when the service comes back again |
Alarm tag | You can define some text to use as a prefix of the alarm message generated by the current rule |
Alarm | If enabled, it will send alarm. You can use this option to enable or disable alarm sending |
Metric | If enabled, it will send metrics. You can use this option to enable or disable metric sending |
