Monitors Guide
This monitor will check the status of components discovered on instances using SAP start service framework. It can be used to remotely monitor components on a Web dispatcher, ICM or application servers

Active | To enable or disable a rule |
Mandatory | If checked, any component matching this rule and reported with an error status will generate an alarm. |
Expected components | The component name to check. You can use regular expressions to match several components with one rule. |
Severity | The severity of the alert generated if a component is in an error state. |
Auto clear | If checked, the alarm will be cleared as soon as the alarm condition is not met anymore |
Prefix | This field allows to add custom text within the alarm message. %MSG% variable will contain the actual generated message and can be used such as: “my_prefix %MSG% my_suffix”. By default, tag will be used as prefix. |
Alarm | If checked, this line of surveillance will be used for alarm generation. |
Metric | If checked, this line of surveillance will be used for metric generation |
Report | Reserved for a future use |
