Oracle Database Errors Tracker

Purpose

Monitors current errors on all stored objects (views, procedures, functions, packages, and package bodies) and notify when errors are found.

Monitored object types

Following object types can be monitored:

  • VIEW
  • PROCEDURE
  • FUNCTION
  • PACKAGE
  • PACKAGE BODY
  • TRIGGER
  • TYPE
  • TYPE BODY
  • LIBRARY
  • JAVA SOURCE
  • JAVA CLASS
  • DIMENSION

Configuration hints

  • Create a new rule and select a type of object to monitor.
  • You can then filter on the object owner, name, and error text.<br/>
  • Select if you want to monitor Warnings, Errors or both.
  • Set the maximum number of errors for a given object in the threshold field.

Auto clearIf checked, the alarm will be cleared as soon as the alarm condition is not met anymore
Alarm tagThis field allows to add custom text within the alarm message. %MSG% variable will containthe actual generated message and can be used such as: “my_prefix %MSG% my_suffix”. By default, tagwill be used as prefix.
AlarmTo enable alarm sending
MetricTo enable metric sending
ReportIf checked, this line of surveillance will used for showing threshold and severity in the daily report
